Sunday - April 12, 2009

Easter Sunday. The Easter bunny decided to hide all of his egg hunt eggs inside the house instead of outdoors as usual. It was pouring rain outside all night, so I can't say I blame him. Alana woke up and looked out her window and said to Tim, "Where are all the eggs?" because she usually scopes out the yard before she even goes downstairs. Haha..

The kids had a blast finding eggs all around the house:

He hid the kids' baskets around the house too. Noah's was in a cabinet under the TV, and Alana's was in the oven! It didn't even take her very long to find it!

They ate a bit of the candy they found in their baskets, and found some cute lambs:

Then we got the kids dressed and got dressed ourselves. Noah tried his best to get his clothes wrinkled, but I got the type of clothes that don't wrinkle. Haha, Noah!

He loves getting dressed up...LOVES it.

Allie ended up with a beautiful yellow dress that was unfortunately a little low-cut in front for her, so we had to put an undershirt underneath which took away a little from the dramatic awesomeness of the dress:

I set the table:

and headed to pick up my grandma while Tim made some squash.

Got back with Grandma around 12:30 and Grandpa and Grandma Pieri and Great-Grandma Colligan were already here. Hors d' oeurves were already out (Tim is awesome) and my grandma had her hearing aids in so she could actually get in on some conversation.

The kids chased each other around in circles for a while:

then we sat down to eat:

After dinner was some dessert

which always makes Grandma Frana very happy. She is so easy to please...

She's been having memory issues, so occasionally we had some little moments where she forgot how to play correctly, but we worked it out. Hopefully it didn't screw up Gerry's learning process too much to have Grandma mis-play. :)

I personally had a great time! Thank you to all who came. <3
