Monday - April 13, 2009

Lots of Easter dish cleanup today that I never got to yesterday. Alana had her book fair, so I sent her to school with $10 to pick out whatever she wanted. She purchased a bendy pencil, a SpongeBob book, a googly eye pen, and an "i-paw" ipod dog poster. She loves all of it. She lost her bendy pencil before she even got home (claiming someone stole it off of her desk while she was at lunch), but her Mammma was nice enough to go to the book fair herself and buy Alana a new one. What a spoiled little girl!

Noah had his annual physical today, so he had the whole nine yards done including another vision test (which he passed with flying colors, so it appears it wasn't his eyes which caused him to fail the test previously, just the method the school nurse used to administer the test during his Kindergarten screening)



and four immunizations. He took it like a man because I told him ahead of time that it would hurt. He knew it was coming and was prepared. :)

The dryer crapped out on us, so I spent some time today researching a good energy efficient dryer. Decided on the Kenmore He2 front-loading dryer. Really wish that old dryer had lasted another year or two, but we got a lot out of it. It was a nice little dryer. :)

New one will be delivered on Thursday.
